2025 MAJOR MILESTONES

This year was packed with extraordinary achievements, from innovative conservation initiatives to inspiring community outreach across the globe. Here are some highlights that showcase the full scope of Gatorland Global’s impact in 2025.

$9,000

Raised by Gatorland Global for Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica

Hurricane Melissa - Jamaica

After Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica in October 2025, Gatorland Global mobilized to raise more than $9,000 with Hope Zoo Preservation Foundation and Zoological Disaster Response, Rescue, and Recovery (ZDR3) to support urgent recovery needs.

Every dollar went directly to Hope Zoo in Kingston to repair damaged habitats and enclosures, provide urgent animal care, and ensure caregivers had essential resources like clean water while utilities were restored.

Thanks to support from Florida biologist Joe Wasilewski and on-the-ground efforts by Hope Zoo Curator Joey Brown, supplies and expertise reached the hardest-hit areas — reflecting our commitment to protect Jamaica’s wildlife.
